We want to thank you for your wonderful day care. Marvin has transitioned from Arizona to New York with only minor issues thanks to you and your wonderful staff. Please let them know how much we appreciate all of you.
I love, love, love Dog E. Woggy’s. I was unfamiliar with doggie day care before I rescued a pitbull mix puppy in January 2013. However after 3 weeks of hearing shreiking from the crate every morning that I left for work and feeling nothing but guilt all day until I returned home, I knew there had to be better way. After a bit of research, I decided day care was the best option for the severe separation anxiety and also would be a great way to keep the puppy socialized with other dogs.
The first 2 places I tried in the area would not except my sweet baby Luna because she was considered an “attack breed” of dog even though she doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. Then I found Dog E. Woggy’s who are smart enough to not practice breed discrimination and judge each dog individually based on their behavior not their looks.
Now I can relax at work and focus on what I need to be doing, not worrying about what is going on at home. And I love and appreciate that the staff stay with the dogs and constantly play with them and give them tons of love and attention, where other places just put them in the “play yard” then walk away to be left to their own devices. The best part, when your dog gets tired, they can choose a comfy couch or bed to cuddle up on instead of having to always lay on the floor.
I could go on and on for days. It doesn’t get any better then Dog E. Woggy’s!!!
I am so excited that Dog E. Woggy’s is finally expanding to overnight boarding. My Harry (beagle lab mix) has been going to day care with Jenn since she opened and he has simply blossomed under her care! My guy is afraid of everything and never really warmed to people, but he has been with DEWs since they opened and I have seen a marked change in his openness to new people, and he loves Jenn.
Jenn and her staff, especially Nicole and Jack, are professional, incredibly respectful of the dogs and their human companions, and have a wonderful sense of joy and fun about their work. They clearly love what they do and it reflects in how much the dogs love being there. Harry often doesn’t want to leave and every time we go, he starts barking with joy from East Ave (and often looks disappointed if we are on East Ave and don’t turn onto Rockwood)! Cannot recommend Dog E. Woggy’s enough!!!
We’ve been bringing Wyatt, our foster dog, to Dog E. Woggy’s ever since we brought him home from the shelter several months ago. We don’t think there are enough words to describe how much Wyatt loves going to Dog E. Woggy’s and seeing Jennifer, Jack, Nicole, and everyone else. Every morning he runs straight to the car and gives us a look that says “You’re taking me to daycare today, right?!” In fact, every time he goes outside, he heads over to the car just in case, on the off chance, we might be going to Dog E. Woggy’s. He always comes home tired from spending the day with his friends. And we all know that a tired dog is a happy dog.
Jennifer and her staff are personable, friendly, and professional. And they genuinely LOVE dogs. They are always delighted to see Wyatt, and Wyatt is thrilled to see them. Jennifer and her staff are extremely attentive to the needs of all the dogs in their care, and they have the dogs’ safety as their top concern. We know Wyatt is in excellent hands when he’s at Dog E. Woggy’s.
Dog E. Woggy’s is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable facility. They have plenty of room for the dogs to play and couches to crash on when they’re tired. It’s kept meticulously clean and feels like a “home away from home” for the dogs. The location is very convenient for us. It’s super easy to drop Wyatt off on the way to work.
We also love that Jennifer and her staff are social media mavens – they constantly post photos of the dogs to Facebook. Through those pictures we get to see what Wyatt is doing during the day, “virtually” meet his canine friends, and see how well he’s being taken care of.
We are so grateful to Dog E. Woggy’s for the service it provides – a safe, comfortable place where Wyatt can play and have fun, get enrichment and socialization, all under the compassionate and watchful care of Jennifer and her staff.
Captain Jack misses his Dog E. Woggy friends!! Every morning he is less than impressed when we walk around the block instead of getting in the car for daycare! He will be back once we find a house! = )
Jen, you and your staff are friggin’ awesome. The young lady who I dropped the dogs off to this morning was so polite and helpful even when I was a complete spaz. Jack was like “yeah, no big deal had to wrestle a giant dog into a bathtub but I like her.” And Nicole was so sweet when she was checking me out and gave me a full report on their behavior in class today. Jack and Nicole both asked about Harry (I have no idea how they keep all of the dogs and people straight!) And on top of it all Cagney and Velma are sparkling clean and pretty!!
You guys rock. Thanks so much. You are a spazzy dog mom’s dream come true. It is so good to know that the people we leave the dogs with care about them and know their personalities, and are willing to put up with their personalities (ahem Cagney).
Thanks again!
